Reva is a traditional woman hailing from Golmore, often distant, cryptic, and somewhat odd, she isn't an immediately friendly sort.Blunt at times, often running her words in circles, she can be a little hard to parse on first encounters. Passed that, however, once she has properly deemed someone worth her words, she slowly becomes more open and straightforward in her statements. She isn't particularly warm, nor is she cruel. She simply is, often doing her best to conduct herself in a way many would describe as neutral and unknowable yet direct and calculated. She walks closely alongside death within her life, she chooses to act as such, to present not just as the companion, but the gentle hold of the end.Many know her to be a conjurer, though it would be short sighted to assume she is only a healer. Much of her spellwork can be tipped toward offensive, and much like nature, she is red in tooth and claw, destroying every beautiful thing she'd ever create. She has long since mastered the magical arts, with few things she truly needs to hone within it, her long life giving her the time to truly know and find the end of what there is to learn. But she doesn't find magic boring, even still.It's rare she travels via aetheryte, finding it more preferable to walk wherever she goes. Her wanderings into city states tends to be fairly shortlived, often passing through only to access transportation between locales and not lingering overlong. She does, however, linger when the company is
agreeable.She has maintained her role in caretaking the dead and dying, often acting as a companion to those who are actively taking their last breaths by sitting vigil and soothing them. She also occasionally ventures out to destroy any ashkin she happens to find, or remove lingering aether so that the soul may more easily pass on into the aetherial sea.Much of her time is spent working, whether that be through hunting, mentorship, caretaking, rescue efforts within the palace of the dead, or other odd jobs. She is known to never accept gil for her work, much preferring her payment to simply be occupying her hands.She travels with a large vulture companion, a creature from the mountains of Golmore she has raised from chick to adult. She is protective of her, often affectionately calling the scavenger 'Rattle' or other little pet names. Wherever Reva may be, Ratiljost is never far.Where her life takes her now that she is unable to return to her home in the Wood is completely up in the air. She has finally settled into her new life, and has become somewhat more interested in making friendships, however these are slow starting and she tends to take up a majority of her social time with the various beast folk she has befriended in her travels.She views herself very much as a forge for others to temper their strengths and grow into whatever tool they are trying to craft themselves into. She often speaks in metaphors relating to this concept, and can become quite fired up when she sees someone she can temper. Childhood
0-16

Reva grew up in a traditional home in Golmore, spending a great deal of time in tune with the jungle around her and its gifts. She studied under her mother, along with another child, Ljot, and began her path in conjury.

II.

Training
16-57

Upon reaching adulthood, she fled into the forest and found a woman sleeping under the river. She waited there for weeks, feeding her and pouring small amounts of water into her mouth until she finally woke up. She had found her mentor, and decided to stay below the river with her and learn all she could.
These were the years she was gifted knowledge of both necromancy and curse magic.

III.

Cryptwarden
57-173

A vast majority of her life was spent in solitude, her mentor dying suddenly and leaving her to tend the cave alone.
She became her villages caretaker, travelling into the village to retrieve the dead so she could put them to rest, as well as finding distressed wood warders to bring them to sanctuary, so that they could continue to protect the wood.

IV.

Leaving Golmore
178

Reva had made a promise to someone important to her early in her life, and unfortunately, that promise lead her to leaving her home in Golmore. She regrets doing so, but she does not regret holding true to her word. She rarely shares the details of said promise, only that it was made, kept, and she remains an oathkeeper.

V.

A new path to walk
178-182

It took her a while to settle down and find herself a new path to walk within the outside world. After a few years of struggling with accepting her new home, she has now intergraded herself. She now works as a hunter and mentor, though for the moment she only has one student.

VI.

Crossroads
182-current

She knew it would come to be, that lingering so long outside of Golmore would corrupt her soul and her mind, that she would care for it and the people who call it home. She's seen Golmore reject her, she's lost.
But where can she go, now? Who can she be? Does she let it all go, wallow in self pity and anger for being so weak to the influence she thought she was above? Or, can she recover her meaning, her purpose, and find a new one? Does she even want to?
Only time and fate hold her now, and where her story leads she is blind to.

Golmorran Conjurer

Reva is a skilled conjurer, or, similar enough to one to use the name. She is a healer of both body and land, maintaining the balance and mending what she can. Though like nature, she is red in tooth and claw, just as ready to destroy every beautiful thing she's ever created.
She uses the 6 elements and their polarities in her spell casting, not limiting herself to a select few as she's seen other mages do in their craft. She enjoys twisting spellwork commonly used for protection and healing into harmful ailments, such as turning a spell of stoneskin inward to restrict movement or crush bone.

Simple Walk-ups

While she can be a little prickly occasionally, with the right approach one can quickly find her guard down.
She is usually found in the outland, though you may chance her within the city states if you're lucky.

Romance

Romance is certainly open, but Reva is the type to make someone work for her affection, or at least earn it. She wants to be proven not to be wasting her time with someone she has distaste for, but she isn't overly avoidant of allowing a romance to blossom.
Find the right way to go about it and things can progress quite fast, or, a slower path can be taken, either way, with the right approach one can gain her affection.

Do you want to be mentored?

If you are seeking a mentor in avenues of magery or just growth, and you manage to get within her graces, she is likely to be willing to mentor you. She has a number of skills she's willing to teach.

Deep Dungeons

Reva has recently signed up to head into the various deep dungeons as part of small rescue teams to retrieve adventurers either lost or dead. She usually posts in adventurer guilds looking for company.

Deaths Companion

Reva works closely with the natural world, and that includes the lingering souls still hanging onto it. Her main work in her Golmorran home was that of a companion, escort, and soother of the dead.
She sat vigil over the dying, performed funerary rites for her village, and tended to the final disposition and removal of lingering souls to ensure they pass on.

Treasure / Monster Hunting

Much of her day she is monster hunting, and she quite enjoys it. She usually goes out on her own for this, but anyone can ask to tag along.
